Amanda McCulloch

Lead Pastor: Amanda has been part of the pastoral staff at Highland since 2011 and became Lead Pastor in 2022. She was ordained in 2021. She earned her MDiv from McMaster Divinity College. Amanda loves connecting with people of all ages, facilitating conversations around important topics, and finding meaningful and creative ways to teach about the way and love of Jesus. Amanda is married to Adam, and they have two young daughters.

Becky Booker

Worship and Music Pastor: Becky came to Kitchener-Waterloo in 1996 to study piano performance at Wilfrid Laurier University. Since then, she has enjoyed being a part of this area’s vibrant musical community as a collaborative pianist. She is currently a vocal accompanist/coach at the University of Waterloo. Becky is currently completing a Masters of Theological Studies degree at Conrad Grebel College, and has been working at Highland since 2019. Becky enjoys gardening, hiking, and reading. She is married to Mark, and has two young adult children.

Carlo De Vito

Youth Pastor: Carlo has lived all over Canada, but living in Kitchener is a homecoming of sorts. His music degree is from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he met his wife Joy. After an MDiv from Regent College and 12 years of pastoral ministry, Carlo is now a full time husband and father of three, a full time student, and happy to be leading youth ministry at Highland Baptist Church.

Das Sydney

Minister Emeritus: While Das has lived most of his life in Canada, his country of birth is India and he spent many of his early years in Africa. He is married to Angela, and they have three children and three lively grandchildren. His theology degree is from McMaster and his doctoral degree from Chicago. His faith is central to his life. He believes in the gift of God's grace and that Christ calls us to be partners with him in His work around the world. He is presently the President of the Canadian Council of Churches.

Jennifer Bryant

Church Ministry Assistant: Jennifer has lived in Waterloo most of her life in Waterloo. She began working as the Church Ministry Assistant of Highland in the summer of 2022. She attended Emmanuel Bible College from 1991-95, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Education (B.R.E. Music Major). She is passionate about noticing the love and goodness of God in everyday life; encouraging others to know God and hear His voice more clearly through her book and blog, worship leading and genuine heart to heart conversation.
