Lead Minister: While Das has lived most of his life in Canada, his country of birth is India and he spent many of his early years in Africa. He is married to Angela, and they have three children and two lively grandchildren. His faith is central to his life. He believes Christ calls us to be partners with him in His work around the world, to touch people's lives at their point of need, and to make real God's incredible love so plainly seen in Jesus Christ.

Youth Pastor: Jason was born and raised in Sault Ste Maire, ON. He grew up in a Christian home along with his five other siblings. Jason has been part of staff at Highland since 2010. He graduated from Emmanuel Bible College, Valedictorian of his class. He is passionate about journeying with teens and their families in their life and faith journeys. Jason is a proud husband and father of two. Associate Pastor, Children's Ministries & Congregational Life: Amanda has been part of the staff at Highland since 2011. She loves finding meaningful ways for children to engage in worship, equipping parents to nurture their children’s faith, and facilitating opportunities for community and connection at Highland. Carol & Norman Giesbrecht
Directors of Music: Carol and Norm have been involved in church music all their lives. Carol started singing at 5 and Norm started playing in the church at 13. Both have worked in the music and education world as teachers, conductors, accompanist and arrangers. Carol has been involved with several hymnal projects. Norm is the owner of Tri-City Pianos.

Rev. Dr. Max DeWolfe
Minister Emeritus: Max was born in New Brunswick. He trained for the ministry at Acadia University where he received his B.A., B.D. He was ordained to the Baptist ministry in 1940, and served in pastorates in the Maritime Provinces, Quebec and Ontario. He also served as a Chaplain to the Canadian Army during WW II, and in the YMCA War Services. In 1964 Acadia University granted him an honorary D.D. In 1981 He and his late wife Margaret retired in Kitchener -Waterloo where they were involved in interim pastoral ministry including three terms at Highland Baptist Church.
